Toka Van, 39, of Big Spring died Saturday, Feb. 15, 2014, at her residence. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Myers & Smith Chapel.

She was born Jan. 6, 1975, to Betty and Ronald Van in Phoenix, Ariz.

She worked as a restaurant manager, spending most of her life in Big Spring. She was a member of Mount Bethel Baptist Church.

She is survived by her mother, Betty Tate of Big Spring; her father, Victor Dominguez Sr. of Phoenix; four children, Devante Lloyd and wife Linsley, Carlos Ross III, Tyree Tauiris Ross and Ceshun Montrell Ross, all of Big Spring; brothers, Roy Lee Thomas II of Dallas, Ronald Van Jr. of San Diego, Anthony Dewayne Van of Phoenix, Robert Lee Evans II of Arlington and Anthony Evans of Big Spring; sisters, Shawntay Sherrie Van, Veronica Denise Van and Brittany Nicole Govan, all of Phoenix, Sheena Evans of Austin and Stacey Evans of Bryan; four grandchildren; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many friends.
