Tommy Liedtke

Tommy Liedtke, 86, of Amarillo, died Friday, April 13, 2012, in Big Spring. Private family memorial services will be held at a later date. Internment will be at Llano Cemetery, Amarillo, Texas.

Tommy was born July 11, 1925, in Paducah, Texas. He married Naomi Boykin Feb. 28, 1944 in Paducah, Texas. She preceded him in death Jan. 31, 1983.
The couple moved from Paducah to Amarillo in 1952 and lived there for 60 years. Mr. Liedtke served in the United States Army during World War II in the European theater.

Survivors include two daughters, Lana Moon of Andrews and Joy Banks of San Angelo; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Tommy was also preceded in death by one daughter, Cathy Muszynski; one sister; and three brothers.
