Tony H. Guzman Sr., 75, of Big Spring died Saturday, Nov. 26, 2011, at Scenic Mountain Medical Center. Vigil services will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Myers & Smith Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 1, 2011, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church with Monsignor Bernard L. Gully officiating. Burial will be at Mount Olive Memorial Park.

He was born May 6, 1936, in El Paso, Texas, to Guadalupe and Clemente Guzman. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He retired from the Veterans Administration Medical Center as an environmental supervisor.

He is survived by one daughter, Cathy Guzman of Big Spring; four sons, Tony Guzman Jr. of Big Spring, Danny Guzman and wife Sylvia of Midland, Robert Guzman and wife Annalisa of Big Spring and Andy Guzman of Big Spring; one sister, Luz G. Martinez of Big Spring; three brothers, Clemente Guzman Jr. of Oregon, Henry Guzman Sr. of Midland and Armando Guzman Sr. of El Monte, Calif.; 19 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Irene E. Guzman; and siblings, Simon, Juanita, Elena, Victoria and Jeannie.
