Trio jailed on drug charges

Three people were arrested after an early morning drug bust in the west end of Big Spring today.

Big Spring narcotics officers, backed by the combined police/sheriff's office Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) team, executed a search warrant at Apartment 10 of Tanglewood Apartments, 3304 W. Highway 80, around 4:30 a.m. today, said Big Spring Police Department Public Information Officer Sgt. Tony Everett.

Lewis Perry, 42, was arrested on a first-degree felony charge of delivery of a controlled substance, while Byron Miller, 30, and Garry Stephenson, 52, were arrested on misdemeanor charges of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, respectively.
