Trio medal at UIL one-act contest

April 7, 2014

Three Big Spring High School acting students earned honors at the UIL One Act Play competition held in Snyder Saturday, March 29.

“Unfortunately, we did not advance but brought home three acting awards,” said Tabatha Wright, high school theater teacher and director of the play. “All young men that won acting awards are first year actors. We are in a very tough district, and I believe that BSHS Theatre did a fantastic job and performed to the best of their ability.”

Dakota Jones was named to the all-star cast. Cameron Mikels and Joey Valle were both selected for honorable mention all-star cast.
