Veteran dove hunt scheduled

June 3, 2014

Disabled American Veterans (DAV) Chapter 47 is requesting public assistance to help organize a weekend getaway for disabled U.S. military veterans.

“We’re going to bring four disabled veterans to Howard County, and we’re going to take them on a dove hunt,” said Mike Tarpley, senior vice DAV Chapter 47. “We have at least one place for them to hunt, but we are trying to get enough volunteers to help guide these veterans and more hunting spots.”
