A Howard County grand jury handed down indictments on 16 people Thursday, including nearly a dozen true bills for possession of a controlled substance.
True-bill indictments were delivered for the following individuals:
• Ricardo Castillo, 29, currently in the Howard County Jail, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle (state jail felony) and evading arrest (state jail felony).
• Victor Manuel Castillo, 35, currently in the Howard County Jail, possession of a controlled substance (third-degree felony).
• Spencer Lee Coker, 37, currently in federal custody, possession of a controlled substance (first-degree felony, enhanced).
• Roger Lee Edwards, 51, currently in the Howard County Jail, possession of a controlled substance (third-degree felony, enhanced).
• Timothy Joe Flores, 32, of 2903 Clanton, possession of a controlled substance (state jail felony).
• Fermin Lopez Florez Jr., 57, of 210 N.E. 10th Street, driving while intoxicated (third-degree felony).
• Juan Manuel Garcia, 42, of 205 Becker Road, forgery (two counts, both third-degree felonies enhanced).
• Michael Angelo Garza, 19, currently in the Howard County Jail, burglary of a habitation (second-degree felony).
• Larry Gutierrez, 35, of 6406 E. FM 846, driving while intoxicated (third-degree felony) and possession of a controlled substance (state jail felony).
• Bernardo Jacinto Hilario, 20, of 700 Abrams, possession of a controlled substance (third-degree felony).
• Frank Lee Jackson, 49, currently in the Howard County Jail, burglary of a habitation (first-degree felony, enhanced).
• Justin Allen Joy, 30, of 2400 Carlton Drive, possession of a controlled substance (third-degree felony).
• Daniel Olivas, 43, of 1506 Wood, possession of a controlled substance (second-degree felony).
• Amanda Lynn Perryman, 40, of 225 Brooks Road, possession of a controlled substance (state jail felony).
• Terry D. Spears, 40, of 608 S. Lancaster, possession of a controlled substance (second-degree felony) and possession of a controlled substance (third-degree felony).
• Harold Edward Wilson, 52, of 113 Tubb Loop Road, unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon (third-degree felony).
