The Herald did a great job covering this tragedy in photos.

it would have been nice to see a little more coverage of the BSFD and HCVFD fighting the fires. They sacraficed their well being to protect the town, and all you have is one picture of water streams that possibly could have been busted mains

Just wanted to let you all know that I love the new direction the Herald is taking with their website, The Photo slide show thing is a great tool and love viewing the images. The video spot on the top of the website was great during the Alon Disaster. Keep up the great work and and love the website.

... this city because it reminds my family and I  about our hometown back on the island of Kailua - Kona Hawaii. Well we love the people they are so welcoming and we tell our family about it and they say we are lucky to have picked a wonderful place to move to and I say "yes we are " my children love their school and their teachers i'm so glad that we moved here to give our children a better opportunity in life..

...i am scared to even have my kids outside because you never know if you are going to be in the crossfire of another one of the shootings.
