Police, Sheriff, Fire/EMS reports

The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. Wednesday and 7 a.m. today:

• LEONARDO TALAVERA, 48, of 404 W. Sixth Street, was arrested Wednesday on three local capias warrants.
• TRACY LYNN GONZALES, 22, of 2707 Hernandez Road, was arrested Wednesday on four local warrants.
• ROBERT R. SANCHEZ, 43, of 1038 College Street, was arrested Thursday on a charge of public intoxication.
• THEFT was reported:
- in the 500 block of Westover Road.
- in the 400 block of Birdwell Lane.
- in the 200 block of Marcy.
• UNATTENDED DEATH was reported in the 2500 block of Albrook.
• CRIMINAL MISCHIEF was reported in the 800 block of Interstate Highway 20.
• BURGLARY OF A BUILDING was reported in the 1700 block of Wasson.

The Howard County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity:
Note — Officials with the Howard County Jail reported having 44 inmates at the time of this report.
• QUENTIN LEE LITTLE, 19, was transferred to the county jail Wednesday by the BSPD on a charge of graffiti.
• JUSTIN GRANT NIETO, 33, was transferred to the county jail Wednesday by the BSPD on a charge of driving while intoxicated.
• TERRY D. SPEARS, 40, was arrested Wednesday by the HCSO on a judgment/sentence for possession of a controlled substance.
• STEPHANIE NICOLE BANKS, 21, was transferred to the county jail Wednesday by the BSPD on a charge of possession of marijuana - two ounces or less.
• LARRY GUTIERREZ, 34, was arrested Wednesday by the HCSO on a judgment/sentence of 15 days - work release.
• BILL CODY YOUNG, 35, was arrested Wednesday by the HCSO on a charge of public intoxication.
• CECIL LEE SHERMAN, 42, was arrested Wednesday by DPS on a charge of driving while intoxicated - second offense.
• STEFEN DANIEL STONE, 21, was arrested Wednesday by DPS on a charge of driving while intoxicated.
• JERRY THOMAS STANHOPE, 38, was arrested Wednesday by the HCSO on a charge of driving while intoxicated.

The Big Spring Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services reported the following activity:
• TRAUMA was reported in the 400 block of S. Bell. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 500 block of S. Benton. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported near the intersection of FM 700 and Interstate Highway 20. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 300 block of E. Sixth Street. One person was transported to SMMC.
• TRAUMA was reported in the area of Comanche Trail Park. Service refused.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 2600 block of Ann Drive. Service refused.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 100 block of N.E. Eighth Street. Service refused.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 2500 block of Larry. One person was transported to SMMC.
• GRASS FIRE was reported near the intersection of Birdwell Lane and Jonesboro.
• STRUCTURE FIRE was reported in the 1300 block of Lamar.
