The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 9 a.m. Saturday and 7 a.m. today:

• ABEL GUZMAN, 25, of 1504 Vines, was arrested Saturday on a charge of possession of marijuana - two ounces or less.

• GARLAND GREEN, 52, of 705 Wyoming, was arrested Sunday on a Dallas warrant.

• JASON WELLONS, 38, of Hamshire, was arrested Sunday on a charge of public intoxication.

• WILLIAM TILLEY, 27, of 2405 Gatesville, was arrested Sunday on a charge of driving while license invalid - enhanced and held for the HCSO.

• THEFT was reported:

- in the 1100 block of Lamesa.

- in the 200 block of FM 700.

- in the 1900 block of Nolan.

• DEADLY CONDUCT/DISCHARGE OF A FIREARM was reported in the 1300 block of Donley.

• CRIMINAL MISCHIEF was reported:

- in the 2600 block of Chanute.

- in the 1000 block of Main Street.

• ASSAULT CLASS C/FAMILY VIOLENCE was reported:

- in the 1000 block of Main Street.

- in the 400 block of Fourth Street.

- in the 3300 block of Highway 80.

- in the 600 block of Holbert.

• POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA - TWO OUNCES OR LESS was reported in the 1100 block of FM 700.

• CRIMINAL TRESPASS was reported in the 1100 block of Lamesa.


The Howard County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity:

Note — Officials with the Howard County Jail reported having 39 inmates at the time of this report.

• RICARDO SOTELO, 29, was arrested Friday by DPS on a charge of driving while license invalid - denied renewal.

• ROBERTO DUTCHOVER PEREZ, 22, was transferred to the county jail Friday by the BSPD on a charge of assault causing bodily injury.

• MARK KIRBY, 34, was transferred to the county jail Friday by the BSPD on a charge of theft.

• DERRIC WORKMAN, 28, was transferred to the county jail Friday by the BSPD on a charge of driving while intoxicated.

• TINA MARIE FLENTGE, 19, was transferred to the county jail Friday by the BSPD on a charge of racing on the highway.

• DAVID CONKLIN, 27, was transferred to the county jail Friday by the BSPD on a motion to revoke probation for unlawfully carrying a weapon and failure to appear - burglary of a building.

• JAMES LYNN PARKER, 27, was arrested Friday by DPS on a charge of evading arrest/detention.

• STEPHEN A. CARRILLO, 18, was arrested Saturday by DPS on a charge of no driver’s license.

• MARGARITO ZAVLA, 32, was arrested Saturday by DPS on a charge of no driver’s license.

• GERARDO SAUCEDO III, 20, was arrested Saturday by DPS on a charge of no driver’s license.

• JUSTIN RAY RODRIGUEZ, 17, was arrested Saturday by the HCSO on charges of assault on a public servant; unlawfully carrying a weapon; resisting arrest, search or transportation; criminal mischief; possession of marijuana - two ounces or less; possession/use inhale/ingest volatile chemical; no valid driver’s license; failure to maintain financial responsibility; defective exhaust emission system; and criminal mischief.

• THOMAS RIOS, 26, was transferred to the county jail Saturday by the BSPD on a charge of possession of marijuana - two ounces or less.

• KELLEIGH JAY SMITH, 25, was transferred to the county jail Saturday by the BSPD on charges of aggravated robbery, burglary of a habitation and theft.

• ADRIEL JAVIER RAMIREZ, 22, was transferred to the county jail Saturday by the BSPD on charges of driving while license invalid - DWI related, failure to identify as a fugitive from justice, parole violation - driving while intoxicated and parole violation - assault/family violence.

• TINA LORRAINE GREENLEE, 31, was transferred to the county jail Saturday by the BSPD on a charge of driving while license invalid.

• ERNEST WILLIAM CLARK, 67, was transferred to the county jail Saturday by the BSPD on a charge of criminal trespass.

• CEDDRICK JOSHUA REED, 23, was arrested Sunday on a charge of public intoxication.

• TYRONE QUINTIN CHILDERS, 26, was arrested Sunday by DPS on charges of driving while intoxicated and a Midland County warrant.

• ABEL GUZMAN, 25, was transferred to the county jail Sunday by the BSPD on a charge of possession of marijuana - two ounces or less.

• HAROLD EDWARD WILSON, 52, was arrested Sunday by DPS on a charge of driving while intoxicated - third or more offense.


The Big Spring Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services reported the following activity:

• TRAUMA was reported in the 200 block of Brekeen. Service refused.

• MEDICAL was reported in the 1800 block of N. Highway 87. One person was transported to SMMC.

• MEDICAL was reported in the 1000 block of Main Street. One person was transported to SMMC.

• TRAUMA was reported in the 500 block of W. 17th Street. One person was transported to SMMC.

• GRASS FIRE was reported in the area of McChristian Road.

• TRAUMA was reported in the area of Second Street and Runnels. One person was transported to SMMC.

• MEDICAL was reported in the 1000 block of Birdwell Lane. Service refused.

• TRAFFIC ACCIDENT was reported near the intersection of 18th Street and Gregg. One person was transported to SMMC.

• MEDICAL was reported in the 600 block of Jeffrey. One person was transported to SMMC.

• MEDICAL was reported in the 1900 block of N. Highway 87. One person was transported to SMMC.

• MEDICAL was reported in the 1200 block of FM 700. One person was transported to SMMC.
