The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity Thursday:
• STEWART SHADE, 18, 1108 E. 13th, was arrested on four local warrants. • RANDEL WILLIAMS, 37, 204 E. 11th, was arrested on a charge of public intoxication. • ANTHONY MCGRUDER, 37, 100 Lockhart, was arrested on a charge of public intoxication. • EDWIN MATTHEWS, 45, 1311 W. Second, was arrested on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. • ERNEST CLARK, 67, 4000 W. Highway 80, was arrested on a charge of public intoxication. • PIERRE GORDON, 18, no address given, was arrested on two local warrants. • TAMALA K. CALHOUN, 44, 1925 Ave. K, was arrested on a charge of driving while license ivalid. • WENDY THOMAS, 29, 4810 Brandy, was arrested on a warrant. • MORGAN LOPEZ, 26, 2501 Barksdale, was arrested on a charge of robbery. • ASSAULT BY CONTACT was reported in the 1900 block of Highway 87 and the 500 block of Birdwell. • ASSAULT/FAMILY VIOLENCE was reported in the 800 block of Johnson and the 2400 block of Morrison. • CRIMINAL MISCHIEF was reported in the 300 block of Gregg. • DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED/INVALID was reported in the 3200 block of 11th. • TERRORISTIC THREAT was reported in the 400 block of Dallas. • THEFT was reported in the 2500 block of Langley. The Howard County Sheriff's Office reported the following activity Thursday (Note: There were 52 prisoners reported in the county jail): • MARK KIRBY, 34, was transferred from BSPD after being arrested on a bondsman off bond warrant for failure to identify giving false or fictitious information. • JOEL ADRIAN FLORES, 26, was transferred from BSPD after being arrested on a charge of aggravated sexual assault of a child. • DAVID ERROL MCGRUDER, 60, was transferred from BSPD after being arrested on a motion to revoke probation for possession of a controlled substance. • CHRISTINA MARTINEZ, 25, was arrested by deputies on a motion to revoke probation for driving while intoxicated. • TERESA LYNNE CHRISTON, 43, was transferred from BSPD after being arrested on a charge of possession of a controlled substance in a drug free zone. • JOHN PAUL SYKES, 24, was arrested by deputies on a motion to revoke probation for possession of marijuana. • CANDACE LYNN CAREY, 25, was arrested by deputies on a bondsman off bond warrant for aggravated robbery. The Big Spring Fire Department/Emergency Medical Service reported the following activity Thurday: • TRAUMA was reported in the 1700 block of E. Third. One person was transported to SMMC. • PUBLIC SERVICE was reported in the 2900 block of W. Seventh. • MEDICAL was reported in the 1800 block of N. Highway 87. One person was transported to SMMC. • MEDICAL was reported in the 1800 block of N. Highway 87. One person was transported to SMMC. • MEDICAL was reported in the 400 block of E. Fourth. One person was transported to SMMC. • TRAUMA was reported in the 500 block of Birdwell. Service was refused. • MEDICAL was reported in the 4000 block of Parkway. One person was transported to SMMC. • GRASS FIRE was reported at Business 20 and Interstate 20 in Midland.
