Cynthia Smith, 55, of Big Spring, died Monday, April 28, 2008, in a local hospital. Graveside funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 2, 2008, at the Mount Olive Memorial Park with the Rev. Wayne Frost, pastor of St. Paul Lutheran Church, officiating.

She was born Dec. 16, 1952, in Big Spring.

She was a member of East Fourth Baptist Church.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Crystal Partlow of Nashua, N.H.; one daughter and son-in-law, Krystal and Jerry Currie of Big Spring; her father, Kenneth Howell of Big Spring; her mother and step father, Fran and David  Jansch of Big Spring; two sisters, Judith Cook of Denton and Diane Jonas of Fredricksburg, Va.; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Michael and Kathy Pruitt of Caddo, Okla., and Tracy and Pat Pruitt of Pasadena; and six grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Cameron Ray Smith and Jeremy Ryan Smith and her grandparents D.P. and Nellie Thompson.
