Michael Anthony Arispe, 21, of Big Spring died Sunday, May 4, 2008, in a local hospital. A rosary will be held Thursday, May 8, 2008, at 7 p.m. in the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 9, 2008, at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church with the Rev. Ariel Lagunilla officiating. Interment will follow at Coahoma Cemetery.
He was born Nov. 11, 1986, in Big Spring. Michael loved and adored his newborn son, Phillip Anthony. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Survivors include his father and step-mother, Juan and Amanda Arispe of Sterling City; his mother and step-father, Mary Rodriguez and Juan Provencio of Big Spring; three brothers, Juan Cardona and wife, Vanessa and Juan Olivarez and wife Bobbi Jo, all of Big Spring, and John Arispe of Sterling City; one sister, Ramona Olivarez of Big Spring; his fiance, Melissa Segundo of Big Spring; one son, Phillip Anthony Arispe of Big Spring; his grandfather, Ernest Moreno of Big Spring; and his grandmother, Juanita Arispe of Sterling City. Arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Big Spring.
