The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. Thursday and 7 a.m. today:
• SHIRLEY JUNE CROSS, 66, of 1307 Mulberry, was arrested Thursday on a charge of public intoxication.
• THEFT was reported in the 200 block of FM 700.
• DISCHARGE OF A FIREARM was reported in the 200 block of Johnson.
• CRIMINAL MISCHIEF was reported in the 2200 block of Morrison.
• ASSAULT CAUSING BODILY INJURY/FAMILY VIOLENCE was reported in the 1200 block of Austin.
• ASSAULT BY CONTACT was reported in the 1900 block of Martin Luther King Blvd.
The Howard County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity:
Note — Officials with the Howard County Jail reported having 63 inmates at the time of this report.
• JERRY EUGENE FRASIER, 37, was arrested Thursday by the HCSO on a charge of public intoxication of a minor – third or more offense, enhanced.
• ROY DWIGHT BIDDLE III, 47, was transferred to the county jail Thursday by the BSPD on a charge of driving while intoxicated – third or more offense.
• THOMAS LEWIS EASON, 32, was transferred to the county jail Thursday by the BSPD on charges of harassment and criminal trespass.
• MELISSA ANN PEARSON, 25, was transferred to the county jail Thursday by the BSPD on a charge of theft of service.
• CHARLES BRANDON BERWICK, 28, was transferred to the county jail Thursday by the BSPD on a charge of driving while license invalid.
• DON LLOYD BROOKS, 41, was arrested Thursday by the HCSO on a Dallas warrant.
• MONICA MONIC MARTINEZ, 25, was arrested Thursday by the HCSO on charges of speeding, violation of a promise to appear and bail jumping – failure to appear.
• CHARLES BRANDON BERWICK, 28, was arrested Thursday by the HCSO on a Hardin County warrant for release of surety – unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
• DAVID FRANCO, 29, was arrested Thursday by the HCSO on a charge of failure to appear – child support.
The Big Spring Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services reported the following activity:
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1500 block of Cherokee. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1300 block of Lamar. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1400 block of Sycamore. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1900 block of Wasson. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1900 block of Sycamore. One person was transported to SMMC.
• GRASS FIRE was reported in the 2500 block of Ent.
• GRASS FIRE was reported in the 600 block of Abrams.
