Bud Summers, 76, a former resident of Forsan, died Saturday, May 3, 2008, in Miami, Fla.

He is survived by his wife, Luisa, step-son Alex and step-daughter Kimayra, all of Miami, Fla.; an identical twin brother, Jim, of Arkansas; two sisters, Harriett of Oklahoma and Betty of Richardson; two daughters, Jeri of Georgia and Sonnet of Forsan; two sons, John and Joseph, both of Amarillo; and many nieces, nephews and grandchildren.

Bud was a member of the First Baptist Church in Big Spring. He retired from Webb Air Force Base, was a volunteer firefighters, reserve deputy sheriff, a Shriner and a member of the Masonic Lodge 1340 from 1982-1991. He was a Christian.

A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, May 12, 2008, at the Forsan Baptist Church.
