To the Editor: I would like to respond to the letter that Lora Spring wrote about that van with the words R.A.P.E. on the side of the white van.
I am a Christian and I think that the law should do something about it also. I saw it Saturday in the Wal-Mart parking lot. I agree with her. What are people just passing through our town going to think? Seems like the police could do something about it. I mean the city also should pass an ordinance about such filth. They can tell us what we can and can ot do so, why can't they do something about that van and the teens that drive it? A kid at school could fall asleep in class and they get ISS. Last year they got citations for some of the stupidest reasons that I have ever heard. But these teens can ride around the city with R.A.P.E. ME HARD on the side of their van and their parents should be ashamed to even let them do it. That tells me that there some parents here that do not care what their kids do and that is sad. I am a Christian and proud of it. City of Big Spring, do something about that ugly van please. Protect the children of our town from such language.
