Floy Beth Laws, 77, of Anson died Sunday, May 11, 2008, at Hendrick Medical Center. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 13, 2008, at the First United Methodist Church of Anson with the Rev. Richard Payne and Caffey Welch officiating.
Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery under the direction of Lawrence-Adams Funeral Home. Born Feb. 13, 1931, in Stephens County, she was a daughter of the late Earl and Ona (McKelvain) Noland. She married J.D. Laws Feb. 17, 1951, in Cisco. He preceded her in death in 1978. Floy was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the Anson Chamber of Commerce. She was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother. Survivors include one son, Tim Laws and wife, Cherry, of Clyde; two daughters, Beverley Humphreys and husband, Dale, of Big Spring and Dianna Clark and husband, Ricky, of Highland Village; two sisters, Irene Hutchins of Abilene and Billie Judkins of Breckenridge; one sister-in-law, Francys Noland of Hurst; and four grandchildren, Joy Humpreys and fiancé, Jeb Clark, of Lubbock, Colton Laws and Weston Laws, both of Clyde, and Randall Clark of Highland Village.
