The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. Monday and 7 a.m. today:
• JOANN LEDESMA, 26, of 2500 Albrook, was arrested Monday on two local warrants and five capias warrants. • JAMES LYNN PARKER, 28, of 2501 Langley, was arrested Monday on a charge of failure to identify – giving false information. • MARCOS JOE ANDERSON, 27, of 1605 Sixth Street, was arrested Monday on a local citation. • ANSELMO H. HILARIO, 53, of 1703 W. Third Street, was arrested Monday on five local warrants and six capias warrants. • DEBRA RENEE SHAFFER, 39, of 1408 Nolan, was arrested Monday on charges of public intoxication and possession of drug paraphernalia. • MARY ELLEN VIASANA, 38, of 1405 Benton, was arrested Monday on six local warrants and a HCSO warrant. • JOSE CRUZ PINON, 24, of 448 Armstrong, was arrested Monday on a charge of driving while license invalid. • ROBERT TORRES VARGAS, 33, of 1514 E. 17th Street, was arrested Monday on a charge of public intoxication. • THEFT was reported in the 200 block of FM 700. • CRIMINAL MISCHIEF was reported in the 800 block of Interstate Highway 20. • ASSAULT BY CONTACT was reported in the 1000 block of Gregg Street. The Howard County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity: Note — Officials with the Howard County Jail reported having 74 inmates at the time of this report. • MONICA JONELLE MCGRUDER, 36, was arrested Monday by the HCSO on a judgment/sentence for two counts of failure to identify. • DEL RAY SCHEIBER, 38, was arrested Monday by the HCSO on a charge of violation of parole. • LONNIE GREEN, 49, was arrested Monday by the HCSO on judgments/sentences for possession of marijuana – two ounces or less and two counts of theft. • JOSE MANUEL AVINA, 32, was transferred to the county jail Monday by the BSPD on a charge of interfering with an emergency phone call. • FRANKLIN KYLE CASEY, 47, was transferred to the county jail Monday by the BSPD on a charge of resisting arrest, search or transportation. • RYAN LEE FORD, 19, was transferred to the county jail Monday by the BSPD on a charge of possession of a dangerous drug. • TIMOTHY MARK DUFFY, 34, was transferred to the county jail Monday by the BSPD on a charge of assault with intent to cause bodily injury – family violence. • ANTHONY ALAN CAVINESS, 54, was arrested Monday by the HCSO on a charge of theft by check. The Big Spring Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services reported the following activity: • MEDICAL was reported in the 3900 block of Hamilton. Service refused. • MEDICAL was reported in the 200 block of N.W. Second Street. One person was transported to SMMC. • MEDICAL was reported in the 2600 block of Albrook. One person was transported to SMMC. • MEDICAL was reported in the 100 block of W. Eighth Street. One person was transported to SMMC. • MEDICAL was reported in the 1900 block of Scurry. One person was transported to SMMC. • MEDICAL was reported in the 2300 block of Wasson. One person was transported to SMMC.
