Police, Sheriff, Fire/EMS reports
Wednesday, 16 July 2008
The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. Tuesday and 7 a.m. today:
• ROBERT RUBEN SANCHEZ, 44, of 429 Westover Road, was arrested Tuesday on a charge of public intoxication.
• THEFT was reported in the 900 block of Willia.
• DEADLY CONDUCT was reported in the 2500 block of March.
• CRIMINAL MISCHIEF was reported:
in the 200 block of Main Street.
in the 2500 block of Fairchild.

The Howard County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity:
Note — Officials with the Howard County Jail reported having 65 inmates at the time of this report.
• BOE LEWIS PAYNE, 26, was arrested Tuesday by the HCSO on a judgment/sentence.
• GABRIEL NIETO, 31, was arrested Tuesday by the HCSO on a motion to revoke probation for theft by check.

The Big Spring Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services reported the following activity:
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1800 block of N. Highway 87. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1200 block of Ridgeroad. One person was transported to SMMC.
• TRAUMA was reported in the 2000 block of Rickabaugh Road. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1900 block of Simler. Service refused.
• TRAUMA was reported in the 1400 block of Utah. Service refused.
