The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. Saturday and 7 a.m. today:

• SEVERO CARAVAS, 25, of Mexico, was arrested Sunday and held for immigration on a charge of no driver's license.

• REX ADUDDELL, 67, of Claude, was arrested Sunday on charges of public intoxication.

• AMBER L. DAVIS, 24, of 610 E. 15th Street, was arrested Sunday on charges of credit/debit card abuse and theft – over $50 but under $500.

• MICHAELF ROY ROBERSON, 26, 2402 S. Main Street, was arrested Monday on charges of possession of marijuana – less than two ounces, and possession of a controlled substance – over four grams but under 200 grams.

• ASSAULT BY CONTACT was reported in the 1900 block of Highway 87.

• ASSAULT BY CONTACT was reported in the 600 block of Third Street.

• ASSAULT CLASS C/FAMILY VIOLENCE was reported in the 1100 block of Ridgeroad.

• ASSAULT – CAUSES BODILY INJURY was reported in the 100 block of Third Street.

• BURGLARY OF BUILDING was reported in the 1500 block of Fourth Street.

• BURGLARY OF VEHICLE was reported in the 3700 block of Hamilton.

• CRIMINAL MISCHIEF was reported in the 300 block of Seventh Street.

• CRIMINAL MISCHIEF was reported in the 1500 block of Oriole.

• THEFT was reported in the 2300 block of Wasson.

• THEFT was reported in the 1200 block of 11th Street.

• THEFT was reported in the 1200 block of 11th Street.

• THEFT was reported in the 800 block of Third Street.


The Howard County Sheriff's Office reported the following activity:

Note – Officials with the Howard County Jail reported having 58 inmates at the time of this report.

• JAMES LEE HENDERSON, 68, was arrested by the HCSO Friday on a charge of driving while intoxicated.

• JOHN FLORES JR., 43, was transferred by the BSPD to the County Jail Friday on a charge of evading arrest.

• VIRGIL DAVID JAMES, 50, was arrested by the HCSO Friday on two charges of simple assault.

• KENNETH GREGORY WILSON, 53, was arrested by the HCSO Friday on a charge of assault – family violence.

• TERESA A. SIMS, 48, was arrested by the HCSO Friday on charges of display of a suspended/revoked driver's license, display of an expired license plate, violating a promise to appear on a charge of driving while intoxicated, driving while license invalid, and violating a promise to appear on a charge of an issuance of a bad check/capias.

• BOBBY PHILLIPS MASTERS, 46, was arrested by the HCSO Saturday on a charge of unauthorized use of a vehicle.

• CHANCE FRANKIN CAIN, 20, was arrested by the DPS Saturday on charges of driving while intoxicated and driver's license/ID false.

• JONATHAN MICHEALS SHORTEN, 51, was transferred by the BSPD to the County Jail Saturday on a charge of resisting arrest, search or transport.

• FRANK LEE JACKSON, 49, was transferred by the BSPD to the County Jail Saturday on a charge of criminal trespass of a habitation.

• ELIJAH ALDRIDGE, 44, was transferred by the BSPD to the County Jail Saturday on a charge of possession of marijuana – two ounces or less.

• PATRICK KYLE HECKLER, 30, was arrested by the HCSO Sunday on charges of issuance of a bad check and obstructing a highway passageway – Miscellaneous Class C public intoxication.

• CURTIS ALAN GRANT, 46, was arrested by the HCSO Sunday on a charge of public intoxication.

• SAMUEL LOPEZ SANCHEZ, 24, was arrested by the HCSO Sunday on a charge of public intoxication.

• VILLA ARTURO HERNANDEZ, 19, was arrested by the DPS Sunday on a charge of driving while intoxicated.

• MYRELL SIMSON, 34, was transferred by the BSPD to the County Jail Sunday on a charge of driving while license suspended/invalid enhanced.

• ADAN VASQUEZ, 45, was transferred by the BSPD to the County Jail Sunday on a charge of driving while intoxicated - 2nd open container.

• RAMON LOPEZ JR., 40, was arrested by the DPS Monday on a charge of driving while license suspended with previous conviction or suspension.


The Big Spring Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services reported the following activity:

• TRAUMA was reported Saturday in the 1100 block of Lloyd. One person was transported to SMMC.

• MEDICAL was reported Saturday in the 1800 block of W. Highway 87. One person was transported to SMMC.

• MEDICAL was reported Saturday in the 300 block of W. Ninth Street. One person was transported to SMMC.

• MEDICAL was reported Saturday in the 3600 block of Connelly. One person was transported to SMMC.

• AUTOMOBILE FIRE was reported at Highway 87 and Todd Road.

• AUTOMOBILE FIRE was reported at mile marker 176 on I-20.

• MEDICAL was reported in the 12000 block of N. County Road 7. One person was transported to SMMC.

• MEDICAL was reported in the 4700 block of W. Highway 80. Service refused.

• TRAFFIC ACCIDENT was reported at Farm Road 669 and Farm Road 846. One person was transported to SMMC.

• GRASS FIRE was reported in the 1500 block of Oriole.
