The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. Tuesday and 7 a.m. today:
• KENNETH MCPHERSON, 17, of 710 E. 13th Street, was arrested Tuesday on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. • RAYMOND SLATON, 64, of 1 Glenwick Cove, was arrested Tuesday on a charge of driving while intoxicated – open container. • SHAWN GONZALEZ, 19, of Snyder, was arrested Wednesday on a charge of possession of marijuana. • DEANGELO GRAY, 24, of 613 McEwen, was arrested Wednesday on a charge of possession of marijuana. • JACOB AGUIRRE, 27, of Stanton, was arrested Wednesday on a charge of public intoxication. • THEFT was reported in the 1100 block of Lamesa. • POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA was reported in the 1400 block of Stadium. • DISORDERLY CONDUCT – DISPLAYING A FIREARM was reported in the 2500 block of Dow. • CRIMINAL MISCHIEF was reported: in the 1400 block of Tucson. in the 1400 block of Lincoln. in the 400 block of Johnson. • AGGRAVATED ASSAULT was reported in the 2600 block of Chanute. The Howard County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity: Note — Officials with the Howard County Jail reported having 50 inmates at the time of this report. • MELISSA ANN PUGA, 40, was arrested Tuesday by the HCSO on a motion to revoke probation for driving while intoxicated. • SUE ELLEN BLANKINSHIP, 27, was arrested Tuesday by the HCSO on a charge of Class C assault. • ROSALYN DENISE YOUNG, 38, was transferred to the county jail Tuesday by the BSPD on charges of possession of marijuana – two ounces or less (two counts). • THADDEUS RASHAD MCCALISTER, 20, was transferred to the county jail Tuesday by the BSPD on a charge of possession of marijuana – two ounces or less. • JASON M. THREATS, 30, was transferred to the county jail Tuesday by the BSPD on a charge of possession of marijuana – two ounces or less. • ADELAIDO MARTINEZ, 56, was transferred to the county jail Tuesday by the BSPD on a charge of driving while license suspended/invalid – enhanced. • JOSE OLIVOS SR., 57, was transferred to the county jail Tuesday by the BSPD on charges of possession of marijuana – two ounces or less and driving while intoxicated. • OLIVIA TALIETHA BALLIN, 29, was transferred to the county jail Tuesday by the BSPD on a charge of possession of marijuana – two ounces or less. The Big Spring Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services reported the following activity: • MEDICAL was reported in the 1500 block of E. Sixth Street. One person was transported to SMMC. • MEDICAL was reported in the 600 block of Jeffery Road. One person was transported to SMMC. • MEDICAL was reported in the 1600 block of W. Interstate Highway 20. One person was transported to SMMC. • TRAUMA was reported in the 500 block of N. Avenue G. Service refused. • MEDICAL was reported in the 1500 block of Oriole. Service refused.
