The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. Tuesday and 7 a.m. today:
• MELISSA FINCHUM, 40, of 1007 14th Street, was arrested Tuesday on a charge of public intoxication.
• HOMER GARLAND GANDY, 59, of 1807 Driver Road, was arrested Tuesday on a charge of driving while license invalid.
• ERIK RODRIGUEZ, 26, of Fort Worth, was arrested Tuesday on a charge of driving while license invalid.
• DENNIS PAGE, 25, of 1106 Sixth Street, was arrested Tuesday on a charge of possession of marijuana – two ounces or less.
• ORLANDO SANCHEZ, 24, of 1409 Settles, was arrested Wednesday on a charge of hindering officers.
• BILLY ALVARADO, 29, of 503 Johnson, was arrested Wednesday on a charge of hindering officers.
• LETICIA CANTU, 32, of 2504 16th Street, was arrested Wednesday on a charge of hindering officers.
• THEFT was reported:
in the 1100 block of Lamesa.
in the 400 block of Birdwell Lane.
• POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA – TWO OUNCES OR LESS was reported in the 100 block of Jones.
• CRIMINAL MISCHIEF was reported:
in the 1200 block of 15th Street.
in the 1400 block of Park.
• AGGRAVATED ASSAULT was reported in the 1700 block of Scurry.

The Howard County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity:
Note — Officials with the Howard County Jail reported having 63 inmates at the time of this report.
• DAVID CHRISTOPHER PETREE, 23, was arrested Tuesday by the HCSO on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
• MATTHEW LUIS ALMAZAN, 22, was arrested Tuesday by DPS on a motion to revoke probation for burglary of a vehicle and charges of accident involving damage to a vehicle, no driver's license, no liability insurance and displaying an expired registration certificate.
• DAVID W. O'BRIEN, 29, was arrested Tuesday by the HCSO on a charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
• JOHNATHON DEVON AVERY, 18, was transferred to the county jail Tuesday by the BSPD on a probation violation.
• SANDY SHEIKH, 26, was arrested Tuesday by the HCSO on a charge of bondsman off bond for possession of marijuana – two ounces or less.
• MARK ANTHONY MCBETH, 22, was transferred to the county jail Tuesday by the BSPD on a charge of burglary of a building.
• NOEL FIGUEROA NOYOLA, 53, was arrested Tuesday by the HCSO on charges of violation of parole and failure to identify as a fugitive from justice – giving false information.
• MARKQUIN HARRIS, 22, was arrested Tuesday by the HCSO on a motion to revoke probation for possession of marijuana – two ounces or less and a motion to revoke probation for bail jumping/failure to appear.
• CHRISTOPHER TEICHMA BEASLEY, 35, was arrested Wednesday by the HCSO on charges of public intoxication (two counts).

The Big Spring Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services reported the following activity:
• MEDICAL was reported in the area of N. Highway 87. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1300 block of Mt. Vernon. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1400 block of Nolan. One person was transported to SMMC.
• TRAUMA was reported in the 1500 block of Nolan. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1200 block of Douglas. One person was transported to SMMC.
• TRAUMA was reported in the 1000 block of Stadium. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1200 block of Sycamore. One person was transported to SMMC.
