Officials with the Big Spring Fire Department said this unoccupied home, located at 706 N. Goliad, suffered extensive smoke damage and some fire damage in the living room area after a fire ripped through it at approximately 2:30 a.m. Thursday. According to Big Spring Fire Chief Brian Jensen, the cause of the fire has been labeled suspicious and is currently under investigation. The home is owned by Sylvia Martinez of Big Spring.
