The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity Tuesday:
• PRINCE VANDERBILT, 21, 1502 Lincoln, was arrested on a capias warrant. • LANCE WATERS, 24, Midland, was arrested on two local warrants. • CRIMINAL TRESPASS WARNING was reported in the 400 block of Fourth. • THEFT OVER $500 BUT LESS THAN $1,500 was reported in the 1400 block of Sycamore. The Howard County Sheriff's Office reported the following activity Tuesday (note: 58 prisoners were reported in the Howard County Jail):
• ANTHONY THOMAS MCGRUDER, 37, was transferred from BSPD after being arrested on a charge of possession of a controlled substance. • RENE VALDEZ JR., 46, was transferred from BSPD after being arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated/third or more offense and a Taylor County warrant. • DAVID CHRISTOPHER PETREE, 21, was transferred from BSPD after being arrested on a charge of possession of marijuana. • KEITH ALEXANDER VINCENT, 19, was arrested by deputies on charges of driving while license invalid and possession of drug paraphernalia. • JUAN MIGUEL RODRIGUEZ, 20, was arrested by deputies to begin a judgment sentence. • JAMES HOWARD JENNINGS, 54, was transferred from BSPD after being arrested on a charge of criminal trespass. • NATALIE DAWN JOHNSON, 40, was arrested by DPS on a charge of driving while intoxicated. The Big Spring Fire Department/Emergency Medical Service reported the following activity Tuesday: • TRAUMA was reported in the 1800 block of N. Highway 87. One person was transferred to SMMC. • TRAFFIC ACCIDENT was reported in the 2600 block of Gregg. One person was transferred to SMMC. • MEDICAL was reported in the 500 block of W. 17th. One person was transferred to SMMC. • TRAUMA was reported in the 1900 block of N. Highway 87. One person was transferred to SMMC. • DUMPSTER FIRES were reported in the 600 and 900 blocks of Nolan Street. The fires were extinguished.
