The bride is the daughter of Jesse and Rose Griffin and the granddaughter of Stan Griffin and the late Freyda Griffin of Coahoma and Juanita Baskin and the late Glen Eugene Baskin of Brownwood.

The groom is the son of  Scot and Stacy Sheppard and Jeff and Julie Harwood and the grandson of Dene and the late Bill Sheppard of Big Spring, John and Judy Meyer of Ashtabula, Ohio, and Joan Meyer of Big Spring,

The bride was given away by her father, Jesse Griffin.

Maid of honor was Laura Thomas and bridesmaids were Jaime McCrea and Katie Bowling.

Best man was George Green and groomsmen were Keith Smith and Cody Sheppard.

Ring bearer was Hayden Stevens and flower girls were Kara Neal and Micaela Parrish.

Both the bride and groom are 2005 graduates of Coahoma High School. Chelsea is pursing a degree in accounting and Tyler is pursing a degree in psychology.

Following a honeymoon to the Caribbean, the couple made their home in Midland.
