The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. Thursday and 7 a.m. today:
• CHRISTINA DIAZ, 25, of 610 N.W. Eighth Street, was arrested Wednesday on charges of possession of marijuana and six local capias warrants. • LANCE LAND, 19, of 908 W. Fourth Street, was arrested Wednesday on a charge of minor in consumption of an alcoholic beverage. • ANITA GARCIA, 42, of 1208 Wood, was arrested Wednesday on two local warrants. • CURTIS FLEWELLEN, 62, of 538 Westover Road, was arrested Wednesday on a charge of possession of a controlled substance. • ROY BIDDLE, 48, of 5203 Sterling, was arrested Wednesday on a charge of public intoxication. • KRISTEN LEWIS, 24, of 800.5 Nolan, was arrested Wednesday on a local warrant. • JOSE RIVERA, 20, of 2401 Morrison, was arrested Thursday on six local warrants. • LIONSO JIMENEZ, 29, of 3910 Highway 350, was arrested Thursday on a charge of possession of a controlled substance. • MIGUEL ARENIVAS, 19, of 2603 Ent, was arrested Thursday on charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana. • DANIEL JOSUE ROSAS, 26, of 706.5 E. 13th Street, was arrested Thursday on two local warrants. • POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA – TWO OUNCES OR LESS was reported in the 300 block of Gregg Street. • POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE was reported in the 300 block of Gregg Street. • BURGLARY OF A HABITATION – ASSAULT was reported: in the 900 block of Runnels. in the 1700 block of Purdue. • ASSAULT CLASS C/FAMILY VIOLENCE was reported in the 2700 block of Central. • ASSAULT BY CONTACT was reported in the 800 block of Owens. The Howard County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity: Note — Officials with the Howard County Jail reported having 53 inmates at the time of this report. • ALICIA ANN ROBINSON, 32, was arrested Thursday by the HCSO on a charge of forgery of a financial instrument. • CURTIS R. FLEWELLEN, 62, was transferred to the county jail Thursday by the BSPD on a charge of possession of a controlled substance. • BRENDA NICOLE ROBLEDO, 21, was arrested Thursday by the HCSO on a judgment/sentence for theft. • TONY BINGHAM, 26, was arrested Thursday by the HCSO on a charge of driving while intoxicated – second offense. The Big Spring Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services reported the following activity: • MEDICAL was reported in the 1500 block of E. Sixth Street. One person was transported to SMMC. • MEDICAL was reported in the 500 block of Birdwell Lane. One person was transported to SMMC. • MEDICAL was reported in the 1700 block of E. Highway 350. One person was transported to SMMC. • MEDICAL was reported in the 200 block of Washington. One person was transported to SMMC. • MEDICAL was reported in the 1500 block of Old Colorado City Highway. One person was transported to SMMC. • MEDICAL was reported in the 1900 block of E. 25th Street. One person was transported to SMMC. • TRAFFIC ACCIDENT was reported in the 1300 block of Baylor. Three people were transported to SMMC. • TRAFFIC ACCIDENT was reported near the intersection of Colorado City Highway and Highway 350. One person was transported to SMMC.
