According to Lisa Brooks, director of Neugebauer's Big Spring office, the congressman will kick off the two-day stop in the Crossroads area with a visit to the Canterbury Retirement Center.
“Congressman Neugebauer will be touring the renovations that have been made to the facility from 10:45 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.,” said Brooks. “The next stop will be the Lions Club meeting at noon in the Cactus Room at Howard College, where the congressman will be the guest speaker.
“Following the Lions Club meeting, Congressman Neugebauer will meet with city and county officials at the Lake Room in the Dora Roberts Community Center from 1:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. After that, he will be at the Big Spring VA Medical Center for their open house ceremony for the new domiciliary portion of the hospital.”
Brooks said Neugebauer will pick things up Thursday morning with radio interviews and a tour of the U.S. Department of Agriculture Research Station from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.
“We will wrap things up with a flag presentation at the Airpark Fire Station,” said Brooks. “That will be from 1:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m., and will pretty much wrap up the public appearances this week.”
