The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. Monday and 7 a.m. today:
Note: An arrest log was not made available by the BSPD in time for publication in today's edition of the Herald. Several arrests from last week — as well as those from the weekend and this week— have gone unreported by the local law enforcement agency despite continued efforts to retrieve and publish them.
• THEFT was reported:
in the 1200 block of 11th Place.
in the 1800 block of Gregg Street.
• INJURY TO A CHILD WITH INTENT TO CAUSE BODILY INJURY was reported in the 3200 block of Fordham.

The Howard County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity:
Note — Officials with the Howard County Jail reported having 55 inmates at the time of this report.
• DAVID YANEZ, 40, was arrested Monday by the HCSO on a charge of order amending conditions of community supervision.
• DERRICK ALLEN YOUNG, 37, was transferred to the county jail Monday by the BSPD on a charge of possession of a controlled substance.
• DENA COOK FRASER, 24, was transferred to the county jail Monday by the BSPD on a charge of possession of marijuana – two ounces or less.
• TIFFANY ROCHELLE DAWSON, 23, was transferred to the county jail Monday by the BSPD on charges of delivery of a controlled substance (two counts) and delivery of a dangerous drug.
• JOSEPH MELVIN FRASER, 33, was transferred to the county jail Monday by the BSPD on a charge of possession of marijuana – two ounces or less.
• CHRISTIAN DAVON GORDON, 26, was transferred to the county jail Monday by the BSPD on a charge of manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance.
• NICHOLAS GEORGE CEGELIS, 22, was arrested Monday by the HCSO on a charge of criminal mischief.
• BILLY WAYNE ALDRIDGE JR., 21, was transferred to the county jail Monday by the BSPD on charges of speeding, possession of drug paraphernalia, violation of a promise to appear and manufacture and delivery of cocaine — more than one gram, less than four grams.
• TERESA PIERCE, 44, was transferred to the county jail Monday by the BSPD on charges of possession of a controlled substance (two counts) and possession of a dangerous drug.
• JOSIE BALCAZAR, 50, was arrested Monday by the HCSO on a charge of theft by check.

The Big Spring Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services reported the following activity:
• MEDICAL was reported in the 6100 block of W. FM 846. One person was transported to SMMC.
• TRAUMA was reported in the 1400 block of Lancaster. One person was transported to SMMC.
• TRAUMA was reported in the 1700 block of Goliad. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 500 block of W. 17th Street. Service refused.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 400 block of Fourth Street. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 300 block of Denton. One person was transported to SMMC.
• TRAUMA was reported in the 1700 block of First Street. One person was transported to SMMC.
