HERALD Staff Report
Big Spring police are investigating an aggravated assault that resulted in a man receiving a knife wound to the arm Tuesday afternoon.
BSPD Sgt. Tony Everett said police responded to the 300 block of Dundee just after 4 p.m. Tuesday after a local man reported being attacked by a man with a knife. “The wound was very minor and didn't even require stitches ... and the victim refused medical treatment,” Everett said. “We'll be following up on this incident.” Also Tuesday, police were called to Northcrest Apartments, 1002 N. Main in response to a report of someone impersonating a law enforcement official. “Apparently, someone at the apartments was flashing a badge to people, claiming to be a police officer,” Everett said. “We'll be following up on this incident as well to see what we can find.”
