The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. Monday and 7 a.m. today:
• ROBERT SANCHEZ, 44, of Colorado City, was arrested Monday on a charge of public intoxication.
• JAMEY JOHNSON, 45, of 2621 Chanute, was arrested Monday on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.
• LANCE LAND, 19, of 908 W. Fourth Street, was arrested Monday on a charge of minor in consumption of an alcoholic beverage.
• VIOLATION OF A PROTECTIVE ORDER was reported in the 300 block of Sixth Street.
• POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA was reported in the 1100 block of Lamesa.
• CRIMINAL MISCHIEF was reported in the 1500 block of Sycamore.
• BURGLARY OF A HABITATION – ASSAULT was reported in the 1000 block of Main Street.
The Howard County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity:
Note — Officials with the Howard County Jail reported having 60 inmates at the time of this report.
• RENE RODRIGUEZ, 20, was arrested Monday by the HCSO on a motion to revoke probation for possession of marijuana – two ounces or less.
• JOSE ALFREDO MELENDEZ, 25, was transferred to county jail Monday by the BSPD on a charge of driving while license invalid/suspended – enhanced.
• JONNY TREVINO JR., 18, was transferred to county jail Monday by the BSPD on a charge of evading arrest or detention.
• ERICA MORENO OCHOA, 29, was transferred to county jail Monday by the BSPD on a charge of violation of parole.
• BRANDY MICHELLE LOPEZ, 30, was transferred to county jail Monday by the BSPD on a charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
The Big Spring Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services reported the following activity:
• TRAFFIC ACCIDENT was reported near the intersection of Highway 87 and Highway 33. I person was life flighted from the scene.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1700 block of Lancaster. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 2900 block of W. Highway 80. One person was transported to SMMC.
• TRAUMA was reported in the 2100 block of Wasson Road. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1000 block of Bluebonnet. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 800 block of W. Eighth. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1500 block of E. Highway 350. Service refused.
• TRAFFIC ACCIDENT was reported approximately six miles west on Interstate Highway 20. Service refused.
• STRUCTURE FIRE was reported in the 2300 block of Mishler. Fire was out upon arrival.
