The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. Tuesday and 7 a.m. today:
• JOE LOUIS SANCHEZ, 49, of 401 S. Young, was arrested Tuesday on a charge of assault – family violence. • KENNETH MIKEL MCPHERSON, 17, of 710 E. 13th St., was arrested Tuesday on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to appear. • EDWARD MORADA GARCIA SR., 51, of 642 Manor, was arrested Wednesday on charges of public intoxication and unlawfully carrying a weapon. • MARY HELEN ESCOBEDO, 44, of 3620 Hamilton, was arrested Wednesday on a charge of public intoxication. • JAMEY SCOTT JOHNSON, 46, of 2621 Chanute, was arrested Wednesday on a charge of solicitation by a pedestrian. • BRANDON MANUEL ONTIVEROS, 18, address not provided, was arrested Wednesday on a charge of possession of marijuana – two ounces or less in a drug free zone. • MARCUS LANCE HATTENBACH, 36, of 1806 E. 15th St., was arrested Thursday on a charge of public intoxication. • VIRGINIA HINOJOS MORENO, 44, of 1322 Madison, was arrested Thursday on a charge of public intoxication. • POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA – TWO OUNCES OR LESS was reported in the 600 block of Linda. • CRIMINAL MISCHIEF was reported: in the 1000 block of 15th Street in the 1700 block of Wasson. in the 400 block of Young. in the 1000 block of Howell. • BURGLARY OF A HABITATION was reported in the 2500 block of Albrook. • BURGLARY OF A BUILDING was reported in the 800 block of Third Street. • ASSAULT CAUSING BODILY INJURY was reported in the 1000 block of Main Street. • ASSAULT BY CONTACT was reported: in the 2600 block of Wasson. in the 400 block of Westover Road. • AGGRAVATED ROBBERY was reported: in the 300 block of Tulane. in the 900 block of Willia. • ASSAULT CLASS C/FAMILY VIOLENCE was reported: in the 1800 block of Gregg Street. in the 400 block of Young. • THEFT was reported: in the 1900 block of Gregg Street. in the 1200 block of 11th Street. • FORGERY OF A FINANCIAL INSTRUMENT was reported in the 400 block of Fourth Street. The Howard County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity: Note — Officials with the Howard County Jail reported having 64 inmates at the time of this report. • ARTHUR CALLAWAY, 19, was arrested Tuesday by the HCSO on charges of bondsman off bond for theft and theft of services. • GERARDO HERNANDEZ DAVILA, 38, was arrested Tuesday by the HCSO on a charge of failure to appear. • STEVE ZARATE, 27, was arrested Tuesday by DPS on a Collins County warrant for theft, a Tarrant County warrant for fraud – insufficient funds and a Dallas warrant for theft by check. The Big Spring Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services reported the following activity: • MEDICAL was reported in the 3900 block of Hamilton. One person was transported to SMMC. • TRAUMA was reported in the 2500 block of Carlton. One person was transported to SMMC. • MEDICAL was reported in the 1400 block of Johnson. One person was transported to SMMC. • MEDICAL was reported in the 3700 block of Hamilton. One person was transported to SMMC. • MEDICAL was reported in the 2800 block of Crestline. One person was transported to SMMC. • MEDICAL was reported in the 200 block of S. First Street in Coahoma. One person was transported to SMMC. • MEDICAL was reported in the 1000 block of State.
