The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 9 a.m. Saturday and 7 a.m. today:

• CARL BRANDON CLARK, 30, of 205 Merrick Rd., was arrested Sunday on charges of failure to appear (two counts), failure to report change of address/name, failure to maintain financial responsibility and speeding.

• GARY WAYNE HOWELL, 49, of 553 Hillside, was arrested Sunday on a charge of public intoxication.

• ROBERT RUBEN SANCHEZ, 44, of 423 Westover Rd., was arrested Sunday on a charge of public intoxication.

• DONNIE GORDON HALE JR., 42, of 1214 Lloyd Ave., was arrested Monday on a charge of public intoxication.

• THEFT OF A FIREARM was reported in the 1100 block of 12th Street.

• THEFT was reported:

in the 1100 block of Lamesa.

in the 900 block of Willia.

• CRIMINAL MISCHIEF was reported:

in the 1600 block of Oriole.

in the 1900 block of 25th Street.

• BURGLARY OF A HABITATION was reported in the 1700 block of Purdue.

• ASSAULT CLASS C/FAMILY VIOLENCE was reported:

in the 800 block of 18th Street.

in the 1900 block of Wasson Road.

in the 1400 block of Sixth Street.


The Howard County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity:

Note — Officials with the Howard County Jail reported having 67 inmates at the time of this report.

• BOE LEWIS PAIN, 26, was arrested Friday by the HCSO on a motion to revoke probation for driving while intoxicated – second offense.

• JASON SCOTT EDWARDS, 20, was arrested Friday by the HCSO on charges of resisting arrest, search or transportation and evading arrest or detention.

• SANTIAGO CANTU, 35, was arrested Friday by the HCSO on a judgment/sentence for contempt of court – disobedience of a court order.

• KRISTAN NICOLE RIOS, 20, was transferred to the county jail Friday by the BSPD on a charge of possession of marijuana – two ounces or less.

• KYLE LEE BROWNFIELD, 18, was arrested Friday by the HCSO on a charge of possession of marijuana – two ounces or less.

• CLINT BOLLIER, 18, was arrested Friday by the HCSO on a charge of possession of marijuana – two ounces or less.

• KENNATH MICHAEL MCPHERSON, 18, was arrested Friday by the HCSO on charges of possession of marijuana – two ounces or less and evading arrest or detention.

• CORY LEE PUGA, 18, was arrested Friday by the HCSO on a charge of possession of marijuana – two ounces or less.

• Crystal Coble, 21, was arrested Saturday by the HCSO on charges of bondsman off bond for resisting arrest, search or transportation and bondsman off bond for possession of marijuana – two ounces or less.

• KARA CHRISTINE BINGHAM, 23, was arrested Saturday by DPS on a charge of driving while intoxicated.

• MARCUS EMORY STURGILL, 20, was transferred to the county jail Saturday by the BSPD on a charge of possession of marijuana – two ounces or less.

• LISA ANN TURNER, 46, was transferred to the county jail Saturday by the BSPD on a charge of resisting arrest, search or transportation.

• CHARLIE LEOS JR., 33, was transferred to the county jail Saturday by the BSPD on a warrant for burglary of a habitation with intent to commit assault.

• JESSE MARTINEZ, 40, was arrested Saturday by the HCSO on charges of evading arrest or detention, resisting arrest, search or transportation, assault – family violence and no seat belt.

• FRANKLIN KYLE CASEY, 47, was arrested Sunday by DPS on charges of driving while intoxicated – third or more offense and violation of a driver's license restriction on occupational license.

• LORENZO TORRES RAMIREZ, 23, was arrested Sunday by the HCSO on charges of violation of a protective order and bondsman off bond for criminal mischief.

• ISIDRO MIGUEL DELACRUZ, 18, was arrested Sunday by the HCSO on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.

• RANDALL KIRK KIRKHAM, 18, was arrested Sunday by the HCSO on a charge of theft.


The Big Spring Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services reported the following activity:

• MEDICAL was reported in the 100 block of Lockhart. One person was transported to SMMC.

• MEDICAL was reported in the 600 block of Driver Road. One person was transported to SMMC.

• TRAUMA was reported in the 1700 block of Lancaster. One person was transported to SMMC.

• TRAFFIC ACCIDENT was reported near the intersection of Third Street and Gregg. Two people were transported to SMMC.

• MEDICAL was reported in the 1700 block of Purdue. One person was transported to SMMC.

• MEDICAL was reported in the 1100 block of N. Nolan. Service refused.

• MEDICAL was reported in the 1600 block of Jennings. One person was transported to SMMC.

• MEDICAL was reported in the 500 block of W. 17th Street. One person was transported to SMMC.

• GRASS FIRE was reported in the 700 block of E. 11th Street.

• MEDICAL was reported in the 1100 block of N. Nolan. Service refused.

• MEDICAL was reported in the 2300 block of Wasson. One person was transported to SMMC.

• MEDICAL was reported in the 1700 block of Lancaster. One person was transported to SMMC.

• MEDICAL was reported in the 1800 block of N. Highway 87. One person was transported to SMMC.

• TRAFFIC ACCIDENT was reported near the intersection of Fourth Street and Gregg. Service refused.

• MEDICAL was reported in the 300 block of W. Fifth Street. Service refused.

• MEDICAL was reported in the 800 block of E. 14th Street. One person was transported to SMMC.
