The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. Thursday and 7 a.m. today:
• ANDY LEE CUELLAR, 23, of Midland, was arrested Thursday on a charge of driving while license invalid and a Jefferson County warrant. • GUY JEFFERSON, 19, of 311 W. Sixth St., was arrested Thursday on charges of theft and consumption of alcohol by a minor. • ANDRES JUAREZ JR., 20, of 411 Trades, was arrested Thursday on a charge of theft. • ERNEST CLARK, 68, transient, was arrested Friday on a charge of public intoxication. • THEFT was reported: in the 2000 block of Gregg Street. in the 900 block of Willia. • CRIMINAL MISCHIEF was reported in the 700 block of Interstate Highway 20. • BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE was reported in the 1600 block of Runnels. • ASSAULT BY CONTACT was reported in the 700 block of Interstate Highway 20. The Howard County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity: Note — Officials with the Howard County Jail reported having 46 inmates at the time of this report. • MANUEL ARMENDARIZ, 43, was arrested Thursday by the HCSO on a charge of theft. • ARNULFO CHAVERA JR., 28, was transferred to the county jail Thursday by the BSPD on a charge of possession of marijuana – more than four ounces, less than five pounds. • KANIEL MATTHEW MIRAMONTES, 23, was transferred to the county jail Thursday by the BSPD on charges of delivery of marijuana – more than a quarter-ounce, less than five pounds. • ANTONIO JOE FLORES, 28, was arrested Thursday by the HCSO on a charge of assault causing bodily injury. • LESTER CLAUDE DUFFER, 28, was arrested Thursday on a judgment/sentence. The Big Spring Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services reported the following activity: • TRAFFIC ACCIDENT was reported near the intersection of Interstate Highway 20 and Salem Road. Service refused. • MEDICAL was reported in the 1700 block of Lancaster. One person was transported to SMMC. • MEDICAL was reported in the 500 block of W. 17th Street. One person was transported to SMMC. • MEDICAL was reported in the 1900 block of Alabama. One person was transported to SMMC. • TRAUMA was reported in the 3200 block of Parkway. One person was transported to SMMC. • AUTOMOBILE FIRE was reported in the 600 block of E. 12th Street. • TRASH FIRE was reported in the 1600 block of E. Fourth Street.
