The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity Thursday:
• JAVIER CASILLAS, 44, 206N.W. Second, was arrested on a parole revocation warrant and charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana.
• SANDRA SHAEFFER, 25, 1408 S. Nolan, was arrested on a charge of possession of a controlled substance.
• DEBRA SHAEFFER, 50, 1408 S. Nolan, was arrested on a charge of possession of a controlled substance and six local warrants.
• PHILLIP ALCANTAR, 20, 500 N. Runnels, was arrested on a charge of theft.
• ASHLEY LUNA, 23, Houston, was arrested on four local warrants.
• DANIEL DELEON, 28, 703 E. 13th, was arrested on two local warrants.
• ASSAULT BY CONTACT was reported in the 1900 block of Highway 87 and the 100 block of Third.
• BURGLARY OF A BUILDING was reported in the 3600 block of Dixon.
• FAILURE TO MAINTAIN FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY was reported in the 1100 block of 11th.
• POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA IN A DRUG FREE ZONE was reported in the 600 block of Sixth.
• THEFT was reported in the 2000 block of Gregg and the 1100 block of Lamesa Highway.
• VIOLATION OF A PROTECTIVE ORDER was reported in the 1800 block of 15th.

The Howard County Sheriff's Office reported the following activity Thursday (note: officials reported 53 prisoners in the county jail):
• CHRISTOPHER LEE RODRIGUEZ, 21, was arrested by deputies on a motion to revoke probation for possession of marijuana.
• BRANDI LYNN MAYO, 25, was transferred from BSPD after being arrested on a charge of possession of marijuana.
• KRISTIE CUELLAR, 23, was arrested by deputies on a judgment/sentence for possession of marijuana.
• ANGEL ADALPHO LAREZ, 27, was transferred from BSPD after being arrested on a charge of possession of marijuana in a drug free zone.
• MOISES TORRES, 39, was transferred from BSPD after being arrested on a charge of possession of a controlled substance.
• DAVID ARTHUR WITTREIN, 29, was transferred from BSPD after being arrested on a charge of driving while license invalid.
• ROY DWIGHT BIDDLE III, 48, was arrested by deputies on bondsman off bond warrants for driving while intoxicated.
• BERNARDO JACINTO HILARIO, 22, was arrested by deputies on a judgement/sentence for possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana.

The Big Spring Fire Department/Emergency Medical Service reported the following activity Thursday:
• TRAFFIC ACCIDENT was reported at the intersection of Wasson and Belvedere. Two people were transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1000 block of Birdwell. Service was refused.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 2000 block of W. Marcy. Service was refused.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 2600 block of Wasson. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 500 block of Lamesa Highway. One person was transported to SMMC.
• TRAUMA was reported in the 1900 block of Goliad. One person was transported to SMMC.
• TRAMA was reported in the 400 block of Edwards. Service was refused.
• STRUCTURE FIRE was reported in the 1800 block of N. Highway 87. It was a false alarm.
