The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity Friday:
• ERNEST CASTANEDA JR., 22, 1303 Nolan, was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated.
• SALVADOR GUTIERREZ PEREZ, 37, 1513 S. Scurry, was arrested on a charge of public intoxication.
• CHRISTOPHER ALTON RANEY, 36, 1603 Donley, was arrested on a charge of assault/family violence.
• ASSAULT was reported in the 1900 block of Highway 87.
• ASSAULT BY CONTACT was reported in the 1900 block of Highway 87 (two reports).
• ASSAULT CLASS C/FAMILY VIOLENCE was reported in the 1200 block of 16th.
• POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA was reported in the 800 block of Marcy.
• THEFT was reported in the 3300 block of Interstate 20.
• THEFT OF SERVICE was reported in the 2400 block of Gregg.
• UNLAWFUL RESTRAINT was reported in the 800 block of Johnson.
