Five individuals received pins representative of milestones of service, including:
20 years — Lynda Sliger
10 years — Glendia Brown, Betty Daly
5 years — Mozelle Osborne. Dorothy Stovall
During the past year, these and other dedicated volunteers have contributed 14,712 hours, providing invaluable services for the patients, family members and staff at SMMC. More than 30 volunteers work during any given month. While some may spend as few as three or four hours, others give as many as 40 to 50 hours per month.
“We appreciate the volunteers and the time they so willingly contribute. Our volunteer program is one of the many things that make Scenic Mountain a great place for people to work, for physicians to practice medicine and for patients to receive care,” said George Parsley, CEO at SMMC.
