Kids' Zone construction continues |

A mixture of volunteers from the community and employees with the city of Big Spring buzz in and about Kids' Zone Wednesday morning, as repairs and renovations at the municipal playground continue. Work on Kids' Zone — which is currently closed to the public — is expected to continue through Tuesday. The facility was damaged in an arson attack in December when the southwest portion of the playground was destroyed by a late-night blaze. While the investigation is ongoing, no arrests have been reported at this time. Coordinators are still seeking skilled volunteers to help with the project. For more information, call 264-2501.
