The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. Tuesday and 7 a.m. today:
• DANA MAYO, 23, of 1505 E. Cherokee, was arrested Tuesday on a charge of manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance in a drug free zone.
• ERNEST CLARK, 69, transient, was arrested Tuesday on a charge of public intoxication.
• THEFT was reported in the 1200 block of 11th Place.
• MANUFACTURE/DELIVERY OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE IN A DRUG FREE ZONE was reported in the 400 block of Fourth Street.
• DEADLY CONDUCT – DISCHARGE OF A FIREARM was reported in the 400 block of Aylesford.
• BURGLARY OF A HABITATION was reported in the 1600 block of Cardinal.
• ASSAULT CLASS C/FAMILY VIOLENCE was reported in the 2900 block of Clanton.
• ASSAULT BY CONTACT was reported in the 1900 block of Highway 87.
• ARSON was reported in the 1600 block of Third Street.
The Howard County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity:
Note — Officials with the Howard County Jail reported having 77 inmates at the time of this report.
• ERNEST CLARK, 69, was transferred to the county jail Tuesday by the BSPD on a charge of public intoxication.
• DANA LANETTE MAYO, 23, was transferred to the county jail Tuesday by the BSPD on a charge of manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance in a drug free zone.
• KEVIN RAMIREZ, 37, was arrested Wednesday by the HCSO on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.
• AMADOR RIOS, 28, was arrested Tuesday by the HCSO on charges of allowing a child to ride unsecured, driving while license invalid, no seat belt, violation of a promise to appear and violation of a protective order.
• CHRIS RUIZ, 39, was arrested Tuesday by the HCSO on a charge of burglary of a habitation.
• NOE SOLIZ, 25, was arrested Wednesday by the HCSO on a judgment/sentence for contempt of child support order.
The Big Spring Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services reported the following activity:
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1500 block of Scurry. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 580 block of County Road 33. Two people were transported to SMMC.
• TRAUMA was reported in the 2300 block of Wasson Road. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 300 block of Union. One person was transported to SMMC.
• MEDICAL was reported in the 1600 block of W. 11th Street. One person was transported to SMMC.
• STRUCTURE FIRE was reported in the 1400 block of W. Second Street.
