The queen and king will be elected during a vote today by the student body and will be announced at halftime of Big Spring's football game with Andrews this evening at Memorial Stadium. Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m.

Also held today will be the annual homecoming parade, although road construction in downtown Big Spring will force it to take a different route this year. High school officials said the parade will start at 4:30 p.m. at the intersection of Donley Street and 11th Place, head west on 11th to Goliad, north on Goliad to Eighth, east on Eighth to Owens, then south to 10th.

After the game, there will be a students-only dance beginning at 10 p.m. in the high school cafeteria.
