The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. Monday and 7 a.m. today:
• CASSIE RENEA EMERSON, 21, of 3202 Cornell, was arrested Monday on a local warrant. • ANTONIO GONZALES TAMAYO, 53, of 1705 E. Highway 350, was arrested Monday on charges of public intoxication, disorderly conduct – language and failure to identify. • ERNEST WILLIAM CLARK, 69, transient, was arrested Monday on a charge of public intoxication. • ELEUTERIO GUERRERO VILLA, 54, of 1206 Mesquite, was arrested Monday on a charge of no driver's license. • THEFT was reported in the 900 block of Willia. • UNATTENDED DEATH was reported in the 600 block of Bell. • FICTITIOUS OR COUNTERFEIT INSPECTION/INSURANCE DOCUMENT FOR DISPLAY was reported in the 500 block of Gregg Street. • BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE was reported in the 1600 block of Johnson. • ASSAULT CLASS C/FAMILY VIOLENCE was reported in the 1200 block of Benton. • ASSAULT BY CONTACT was reported in the 1900 block of Highway 87.
The Howard County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity: Note — Officials with the Howard County Jail reported having 79 inmates at the time of this report. • ERNEST CLARK, 69, was transferred to the county jail Monday by the BSPD on a charge of public intoxication. • CASSIE RENEA EMERSON, 21, was transferred to the county jail Monday by the BSPD on a charge of harassment. • DAINA CAROL PEUGH, 31, was transferred to the county jail Monday by the BSPD on contempt charges for no driver's license, no insurance, speeding and charges of failure to appear, possession of a dangerous drug and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. • ANTONIO GONZALES TAMAYO, 53, was transferred to the county jail Monday by the BSPD on charges of public intoxication, disorderly conduct – language and failure to identify – giving false information. • ELEUTERIO VILLA, 54, was transferred to the county jail Monday by the BSPD on a charge of no driver's license. Villa is being held for immigration.
The Big Spring Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services reported the following activity: • TRAUMA was reported in the 2000 block of Gregg Street. One person was transported to SMMC. • MEDICAL was reported in the 2700 block of Larry. One person was transported to SMMC. • TRAUMA was reported in the 700 block of E. 11th Place. One person was transported to SMMC. • MEDICAL was reported in the 600 block of Bell. Service refused. • MEDICAL was reported in the 600 block of Sgt. Paredez. One person was transported to SMMC.
