The Big Spring Police Department reported the following activity between 7 a.m. Wednesday and 7 a.m. today:
• BRANDEE JO JOHNSTON, 24, of 1207 Lamar, was arrested Wednesday on a warrant from another agency. • JESUS CERVANTES JR., 27, of 110 N.W. Fourth St., was arrested Thursday on a Martin County warrant. • JACK EVERETT FOYIL, 37, of Kountze, was arrested Thursday on a charge of public intoxication. • ERMA LINDA GARCIA, 31, of 1609 Young, was arrested Thursday on four local warrants. • TERRORISTIC THREATS was reported in the 3300 block of FM 700.
The Howard County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity: Note — Officials with the Howard County Jail reported having 85 inmates at the time of this report. • JOHN ALLEN AVANT, 22, was arrested Wednesday on bond revocation charges for possession of a controlled substance in a drug free zone (two counts) and possession of marijuana – more than 4 ounces, less than 5 pounds. • JESUS CERVANTES, 27, was transferred to the county jail Thursday by the BSPD on a charge of driving while license invalid. • JACK EVERETT FOYIL, 37, was transferred to the county jail Thursday by the BSPD on a charge of public intoxication. • ERMA LINDA GARCIA, 31, was transferred to the county jail Thursday by the BSPD on charges of failure to maintain financial responsibility (two counts) and violation of a promise to appear (two counts). • RUDOLPH LEO GUTIERREZ, 18, was transferred to the county jail Wednesday by the BSPD on charges of criminal mischief – more than $1,500, less than $20,000 and disorderly conduct – discharge of a firearm. • DANNY JAY HOLT, 34, was transferred to the county jail Wednesday by the BSPD on charges of issuance of a bad check, larceny – state jail felony and theft – more than $1,500, less than $20,000 (state jail felony). • DOUGLAS HARLIN JOHNSON, 41, was arrested Wednesday by the HCSO on a charge of assault causing bodily injury – family violence. • BRANDEE JO JOHNSTON, 24, was transferred to the county jail Wednesday by the BSPD on a charge of prohibited substance in a correctional facility alcohol/drugs/phone/tobacco. • SEAN PASCA, 56, was arrested Wednesday by the HCSO on an out-of-state warrant for failure to appear. • ERIK PAUL WAYNE QUALLS, 44, was transferred to the county jail Wednesday by the BSPD on a charge of disorderly conduct – exposure.
The Big Spring Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services reported the following activity: • MEDICAL was reported in the 9800 block of Kay Road. One person was transported to SMMC. • MEDICAL was reported in the 400 block of E. 17th Street. One person was transported to SMMC. • MEDICAL was reported in the 1400 block of Stadium. One person was transported to SMMC. • TRAUMA was reported in the 2700 block of E. Highway 350. One person was transported to SMMC.
