Smith-Letter to Editor
Saturday, 21 July 2007

To the Editor:
I would like to thank everyone who made our Fourth of July Pops in the Park possible. I truly appreciate the people who work so hard to organize and participate in that wonderful program.

I would also like to thank all the sponsors who make it possible. We are truly blessed to have such a fantastic program in a city of our size. I look forward to it every year. I particularly enjoyed the opening act, Los Greengos.

I would also like to take this opportunity to belatedly thank the Big Spring Convention and Visitors Bureau for the free concert they sponsored at the amphitheater this past spring. The free concert brought here to town by the CVB was greatly appreciated. The band called Vocal Trash was excellent.

I thank all of the people who made these events possible.
