Emergency responders check out a woman who was involved in a pedestrian and vehicle accident just before 9 a.m. today near the intersection of Fourth Street and Owens. According to witnesses, the woman had stopped at the water vending machine near the intersection when her Jeep Wrangler rolled from its parking space. While trying to stop the vehicle, the woman is believed to have fallen, with one of the Jeep's tires rolling over her leg. The woman refused to be transported to the emergency room by ambulance and didn't appear to have suffered any life-threatening injuries. (HERALD photo/Thomas Jenkins)
