Charmaine is an honor roll student at Monterey High School in Lubbock. She is a member of the Monterey Color Guard, Monterey Choir and Monterey Key Club.

She attends Catholic Education Classes at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church and is a member of CIA (Catholics in Action.)

Charmaine is the daughter of Edward Acevedo and Angela Arguello Acevedo of Lubbock, formerly of Big Spring. She has three sisters, Abigail, Jacklyn and Andrea.

Her grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. David Arguello Sr. of Big Spring, Mr. and Mrs. Valentin Acevedo of Florence, Mr. and Mrs. Juan Arguello Jr. of Big Spring and Mr. and Mrs. David Marquez of Big Spring.
