Vivian Kerr, 53, of Big Spring, Texas died Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2013, at Midland Memorial Hospital. Private family services will be at a later date.

She was born Jan. 12, 1960, at Tahoka, Texas, to Jimeree and Robert Permenter. She was a lifetime resident of Howard and Glasscock counties. She was a Baptist and a homemaker. She married Kenneth Kerr Aug. 15, 1980, in Big Spring.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Kerr of Big Spring; one daughter, Melissa Kerr of Big Spring; one son, Robert Kerr of Big Spring; one sister, Jo Ann Permenter and her husband, Jack Harvell, of Big Spring; one nephew, James Clark, of Big Spring who was like a son; two nieces, Crystal Eckerly, of San Diego, Calif., and Stephanie Harvell of Big Spring; one great-nephew, Jackson Robert Eckerly; three great-nieces, Sarah Abigail Eckerly, Emma Hazel Eckerly and Kinsley Rae Kirby.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
