Wanda Taylor, 75, of Big Spring, died Friday, November 18, 2011 at Scenic Mountain Medical Center. Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM Tuesday at Mount Olive Memorial Park with Rev. Doug Shelley, officiating.
She was born February 24, 1936 in Lamesa, Texas to Rilla (Harris) Weatherford and William Riley Weatherford. She grew up in Big Spring. She married E.J. “Red” Taylor on January 25, 2006 in Lovington, New Mexico. He preceded her in death on May 13, 2007. She worked at El Chico Restaurant for 20 years in Mesquite. She returned to Big Spring upon retiring and worked several years at H & R Block. She was a Baptist.
She is survived by one son R.T. Bivens of Plano; three grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
