William A. “Bill” Bonner Jr., 68, of Austin formerly of Big Spring died Saturday, Feb. 11, 2012, in Big Spring. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Trinity Memorial Park with Chaplain Cherise Felty officiating.

He was born July 27, 1943. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served in Vietnam. He graduated from Big Spring High School and Angelo State University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He had been a certified public accountant in Austin for more than 40 years.

He is survived by his cousin, Glynda Jones and her husband Grady of Lampasas; and one step-son, Lee Eubanks of Austin.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William A. Bonner Sr. and Gail Whitney Legg.
