William Edward Huttegger

William Edward Huttegger, 63 of San Antonio died Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013.
Bill was a Vietnam veteran and served his country in the U.S. Air Force as a machinist. He retired in 1991 from the service as CMSgt. Bill then went on to work for the Civil Service as an aircraft mechanic and retired in 2011.
He was a life member of the VFW Post 4676 in Universal City. Bill loved water skiing, fishing and camping with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin H. Huttegger and Irene Lohmann Huttegger; brothers, Paul Huttegger and Timothy Huttegger; and sister, Debbie Huttegger Frienza.
William is survived by his wife of 42 years, Colleen Huttegger; son, Edwin L. Huttegger and wife Rosanne; daughter, Paula D. Huttegger and husband James; grandson, Justin Huttegger; granddaughter, Harmony Huttegger; brothers, Robert Huttegger and wife Kathie, Larry Huttegger and wife Peggy and Stanley Huttegger and wife Carol; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Thursday, Jan. 31, 2013, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Porter Loring on McCullough.
Service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, Feb. 1, 2013, at Porter Loring Chapel.
Graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 7 at Fort Sam Houston Cemetery, 1520 Harry Worzbach Road, San Antonio, Texas, with the Rev. Marilyn G. Lange officiating.
