William Mac Statham

William Mac Statham, 65, of Big Spring died Friday, June 7, 2013. Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Myers & Smith Chapel.
He was born May 2, 1948, in Hobbs, N.M., to Cara and William Statham. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and was a licensed vocational nurse, working at the state hospital and nursing homes. He lived most of his life in Big Spring. At an early age, he was ordained a minister in the Pentecostal church and in later years, he was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.
He is survived by one daughter, Cara Gill of Big Spring; three grandchildren, all of big Spring; two sisters, Linda Bordofske and husband Calvin of Big Spring and Lois Fear of Haskell; and one brother, Carl Statham and wife Karen of El Paso.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Melody Statham; and infant brother, Tommy Statham.
