Willie Mae Brunson Harrison, 92, of Big Spring died Monday, Oct. 31, 2011, in a local nursing home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 3, 2011, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with the Rev. Joey Bacon officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2011, at the funeral home.

Willie Mae was born Oct. 9, 1919, in Waxahachie, Texas. She married Jimmie Brunson on Dec. 8, 1941, in Big Spring and he preceded her in death Jan. 31, 1990. She then married Alvie Harrison on Jan. 16, 1993, in Big Spring and he preceded her in death June 19, 2007.

Willie Mae had worked at several dress shops in Big Spring and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.

Survivors include her sister, Bobbie Holden of Big Spring; brother, Willis Burchett of Big Spring; four grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her daughters, Nancy Ann Brunson and Sue Lamb; parents, James and Zelda (Hale) Burchett; and four brothers, Olice Burchett, Robert Burchett, Ed Burchett and J.C. Burchett.
